Lists the spectrophotometers that you can use to calibrate the media configuration. A media configuration can support multiple spectrophotometers.
Add
Adds support for additional spectrophotometers that you can use to calibrate the media configuration. The Add button is available for Kodak and customer media configurations. The following rules are used to add spectrophotometer support:
If this type is already listed: | You can add this type of spectrophotometer: |
---|---|
Filtered (UV or M2) | Supports the M2 measurement condition either via software control or by the presence of a physical UV-cut filter |
Unfiltered (M0, blank, or U) | Supports the M0 measurement condition either via software control or (legacy device) by the absence of a physical UV-cut filter |
Software-controlled hybrid (M1) | Supports the M1 measurement condition via software control |
A combination of the above types | Corresponding supported types, as described above |
When you have added all possible supported spectrophotometers, the Add button becomes unavailable.
Tip: Another way to add spectrophotometer support is to use the spectrophotometer to create a custom media configuration. Although it takes several hours to create a custom media configuration, the custom media configuration provides the best color results.
Delete
Deletes support for the selected spectrophotometer from the media configuration. The media configuration must be disabled before you can delete a spectrophotometer, and you can only delete spectrophotometers that you added in the Media Configuration Editor.
