Proofer display information
The proofer display area displays the following information:
Proof Names
The name of all the proofs on the sheet being printed.
Progress Bar
Displays the proportion of the sheet that has been printed.
Status Message
Displays the current status of the proofer.
Idle: The proofer is online but not printing.
Loading Media: The proofer is loading a blank sheet of media onto the drum.
A proofer Service Session Is Active - Proofing not available: The Service window is being used to troubleshoot the proofer. The proofer cannot print a sheet until the Service window has been closed.
Error Message
When the proofer error occurs, an error icon and an error message appears in the proofer display area.
Proofer Controls
Cancel
Clicking this when you've selected the sheet that is currently in the proofer stops the sheet from printing and ejects the media.
Proofer queue controls
Delete
Click to delete the selected sheet.
Move to Top
Click to move the selected sheet to the top of the Proofer queue.
Hold
Click to hold the selected sheet (that is, stop it from moving into the proofer). A
icon appears beside the sheet. Button changes to the Resume button when selected.
Resume
Click to resume proofing the held sheet. Button changes to the Hold button when selected.
Close Sheet
Click to stop the proofer from automatically adding any more jobs to the sheet.
Clear Error
After resolving the error, click the Clear Error button to clear the error and resume printing.
Proofer queue information
The following information appears for each sheet:
Proofer Name
The name of all the proofs on the sheet
Media Type
The type of media
Time Created
The time and date when the proof was created and placed on a sheet
Error Message
Sheets that fail display in the Proofer queue with a failed icon (
). Search the Help for troubleshooting information on any errors listed in the report.
