Designate a specific color library that contains the optimal recipes for converting spot colors in a hot folder's jobs. If a suitable library is created and tested, this auto-conversion method gives the best results—much better than using default conversion at the proofer.
Requirements:
Ensure that the custom user library and a factory library that is appropriate for the proofer and media are available, as needed.
- In the Process Settings dialog box for the hot folder, click the Spot Colors
- In the Handlinglist, select Don't Map Spot Colors.
- Select the Auto resolve spot color naming conflictscheck box.
- Select the Resolve ambiguous spot color recipescheck box.
- Select the Look Up in Spot Color Databasecheck box.
- In the User Librarylist, select a custom color library if you have one. Otherwise, select None.
- In the Factory Librarylist, select a color library that you are using.
- Select Use Recipe From File if Not in Library.
