Use ICC Profile Color Management

Applies ICC profiles to jobs submitted to this hot folder or virtual printer. If you clear this box, you cannot output Certified jobs through a hot folder or virtual printer.

Input file color space

Use Input Profiles

Activates color matching using the specified color set. Most of the color sets in the list represent a CMYK press color space. For example, when you select the US Sheetfed Coated color set, the software ignores the embedded profiles and uses the CMYK color space that is defined for US Sheetfed Coated. However the process differs for RGB input files. For RGB files, the software ignores the embedded profile and uses the RGB color space that is identified for RGB input files on the Input File Color Space Advanced dialog box. The software then converts the input files to the CMYK color space defined by the Simulation ICC Profile that is selected on the Simulation Color Space Advanced dialog box.

Clear the Use Input Profiles check box to turn off input profiles.

Input File Color Space (list)

Specifies the generic color set that best simulates how the input files (images and graphics) were created. Click Advanced to customize.

Advanced

Opens the Input File Color Space Advanced dialog box, which enables you to choose different profiles and rendering intents to describe the input color space

Simulation color space

Use Simulation Color Space (check box)

Activates simulation color matching using the specified color set

Simulation Color Space (list)

Specifies the generic color set that best represents the press space that you're trying to align to. Click Advanced to customize.

Advanced

Opens the Simulation Color Space Advanced dialog box, which enables you to choose a different simulation profile and rendering intent to describe the simulation color space

Proofer color space

Proofer Color Space

Identifies the ICC profile that describes the proofer color space. For inkjet proofers, the default changes depending on the media type. Use a custom profile only if you've created your own profile for the proofer. If the profile is not signed, the proof will not print Certified.

Advanced

Opens the Proofer Color Space Advanced dialog box, which allows you to choose a different profile to describe the proofer color space.
