To access PressProof over the Internet, you must select the Connect via WAN (Wide Area Network) check box in the login window in PressProof software.

If you do not see this check box, Internet access is not yet properly set up. The steps to set up Internet access are:

  • Your system administrator must enable Internet access on the PressProof server. For information, contact your system administrator.

  • You must enable Internet access from the PressProof software on your Apple Macintosh computer.

To enable Internet access on your Macintosh computer:

  1. Double-click the Kodak PressProof icon on your desktop. Do not enter your username and password yet!

  2. From the Kodak PressProof menu select Preferences.
  3. Select the check box beside Enable "Connect Via WAN" checkbox at login.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Close the PressProof window to log out.
  6. Double-click the Kodak PressProof icon on your desktop.
    The Connect Via WAN check box should appear.

  7. Type your username and password on the Login screen, click the Connect Via WAN check box, and click OK.
