Installing PressProof

Install the PressProof client software on each Mac computer that will be used to view surfaces in the pressroom.

Requirements:

• The Matchprint Virtual calibration software must be installed on each PressProof viewing station.

• You must know the Administrator user name and password for the PressProof (or Prepress Portal) server.

1. On the Mac computer, choose Go > Connect to Server.

2. Type smb://<ServerIPAddress>, where <ServerIPAddress> is the IP address of the PressProof (or Prepress Portal) server.

3. Click Connect.

4. Type the administrator user name and password for the PressProof (or Prepress Portal) server. (The user name is usually ARAXI).

5. In the SMB Mount dialog box, select Installers as the share.

6. Click OK.

7. Open the PressProof folder, double-click the Kodak PressProof.dmg file, and follow the instructions (You must have the Mac Administrator's user name and password to install PressProof client).
   Tip: If users cannot access PressProof viewing client after you install the PressProof software, you may have exceeded the allowed number of PressProof viewing stations.
