You can view the 3-dimensional (3D) contents of IC3 files in Smart Review 3D Preview.
Note: The 3D Preview is available only when the 3D Preview feature is licensed for the system and is enabled for the customer.
Important: The content loading process for the IC3 files takes place only during the file upload. Therefore, in order to view the 2-dimensional (2D) and 3D contents of an IC3 file, the feature needs to be licensed and enabled for the customer before you upload the IC3 file. Otherwise you cannot even open the 2D content of the IC3 file in Smart Review.
- Select the project or library to which you want to upload IC3 files.
- Upload the IC3 files by the normal upload procedure.
- Double-click the thumbnail of one of the uploaded IC3 elements to open in Smart Review.
The IC3 element appears in the Files list as a multi-page element.
Note: Depending on the size of the element, it may take a significantly long time for the element to be ready to view in Smart Review. - Click the Open 3D Preview button.
The 3D preview of the IC3 element appears in the canvas area.
Note: Depending on the size of the element, it may take a significantly long time to load the element in the 3D Preview. - Use the Move tool to move and rotate the IC3 element multi-dimensionally.
Note: In the 3D Preview, only certain tools, such as Zoom tool and Full Screen are available. Other tools and features are not functional in the 3D Preview and therefore disabled.
