Advanced HyperFlex is an alternative to HyperFlex. HyperFlex and Advanced HyperFlex are new screening technologies from Kodak that use supporting photopolymers around small graphic elements and dots.
HyperFlex uses partial AM screening (FM screening for low tint percentages). Advanced HyperFlex uses only AM screening, and uses light valves to build additional polymer support around small graphic elements and dots.
The Advanced HyperFlex feature requires the following parameters:

Size

The size of the HyperFlex dot. In the Size box, type a value in pixels between one and eight to specify the relative dot size.

Start Distance

Specifies the minimum distance in pixels that light valves are created from the center of a dot.

End Distance

Specifies the maximum distance in pixels that light valves are created from the center of a dot.

Limit %

The tint percentage at which to stop applying Advanced HyperFlex. Therefore, if you specify a value of 10, Prinergy Evo will apply a HyperFlex tint from zero percent to 10 percent.
