LQS TIFF is a format intended to allow beam reduction on Kodak Lotem 400 and 800 fibreheads and Kodak Magnus 400 LDA devices as a strategy for reducing moiré in output.
LQS TIFF contains screening information in an .ini file that allows the device to reduce the beams used in imaging to prevent the phenomena of patterns on plate and on the final printed paper. You select the LQS TIFF format in Prinergy Evo. Files are then submitted via hot folders that are defined in Kodak Xpo software for the fibrehead output device.
To use LQS TIFF, you must configure a hot folder to accept LQS TIFF in Xpo.
