Define how you want a single page to step and repeat on the media surfaces in the Placement area of the Layout section in the output from PDF process template dialog box.
If you select Step and Repeat in the Placement area of the Layout section, in the N-Up Across and Down boxes, define how many times you want to the page to repeat across the media surface and how many times it should repeat down the surface.
For example, if you type 2 in the N-Up Across box, and 4 in the N-Up Down box, Prinergy Evo software outputs an 8-up flat surface, where the same page is repeated eight times on the surface, two columns by four rows.
If you submit a process that contains four pages to an output from PDF process template with Step and Repeat enabled with an 8-up pattern (Across by two, Down by four), Prinergy Evo outputs four, 8-up flat surfaces. Each surface contains an individual page in the process, repeated eight times, two columns by four rows.
If you submit a process that contains four files each with four pages, to an output PDF process template with Step and Repeat enabled with an 8-up pattern (Across by two, Down by four), Prinergy Evo outputs 16 flat surfaces. Each surface contains an individual page in the process, repeated eight times, two columns by four rows. For example, surface one would contain File1Page1 of the process, surface two would contain File1Page2, surface three and four would contain, File1Page3 and File1Page4, respectively. Surfaces five to eight would contains File2Page1, File2Page2, File2Page3, and File2Page4 respectively, and so on.
