Installing protected fonts

In general, for protected font installation, first follow the font vendor's instruction to uncompress the font source. After uncompressing the font source, a PostScript font file appears that is restricted to the Prinergy Evo server computer on which you uncompressed the font. Refine the PostScript files on the Prinergy Evo client computer to install the font data in the necessary locations.

1. In a shared folder on Prinergy Evo server computer, for example–JobData\Fonts– follow the font vendor's instructions to uncompress the font source.
2. On the Prinergy Evo client computer, create a refine to PDF submission channel.
3. From the shared Fonts folder mounted on the Prinergy Evo client computer, copy the protected font PostScript file (for example, Hanyi.ps) to the refine to PDF submission channel.
   Prinergy Evo refines the font PostScript file and installs the protected fonts on the Prinergy Evo server computer. No PDF is created.
