  1. In the Color Database Editor, see Creating your own color library and define color recipes.
  2. Create a process template.
    1. In a process template dialog box Spot Color Handling section, select Look Up Recipe in Color Database.
    2. In the User Library list, select the required user library.
    3. In the Factory Library list, select the required factory library.
    4. Set the remaining parameters as required.
    5. From the File menu select Save to save the process template.
  3. See Customizing the template palette and attach the process template.
  4. Drag an input file onto the template palette.
  5. In the Process Start dialog box, click Colors.
  6. In the Color Mapping dialog box, click Add.
  7. In the Add Colors dialog box, select Factory Library to add a spot color from the selected factory library.
  8. In the Search color list, select the spot color you want to add to the color mapping list.
  9. Click OK.

In the Color Mapping dialog box Colors column, the added spot color appears.

You can now manually map colors that appear in the process.
