You can submit TIFF/IT P1 input files such as those generated by Apago Piktor or Kodak Brisque software and CT/LW input files such as those generated by Brisque software, PS/M, or Prinergy Evo and the system can convert them to PDF files. The resulting PDF files consist of two layers: line-work (LW) and continuous-tone (CT).

Note: When generating CT/LW or TIFF/IT files, you must ensure the files are trapped and color-matched before you submit them.

CEPSLink is no longer required for these two formats. Pages in other CT/LW formats (for example PS/2, Whisper, and Linotype-Hell) must be converted to PostScript before you submit them. You can use CEPSLink for this conversion.

You can use the CEPS JTP to convert CT/LW and TIFF/IT files to PDF file. Or, you can use CEPSLink or another third-party product to convert CT/LW and TIFF/IT files into single-file EPS or DCS formats.

Note: For CT/LW files, you must submit the ASSG, CT, and LW files at the same time.
