Harmony Curve Selection
To use Harmony curves for Prinergy screened output, select Curve Source: Harmony in the Calibration and Screening panel of an output process template. The Print Curve and Plate Curve list controls display calibration curves in the Harmony database.
When you select a print curve and plate curve from Harmony, the process template editor saves the name of each curve in the process template file. If you edit the curve name in Harmony, output using the process template will fail because the curve name cannot be found in the Harmony curves database. You need to edit the process template and choose the new curve name.
ColorFlow Curve Selection
To use ColorFlow curves for Prinergy output, select Curve Source: ColorFlow Current State in the Calibration and Screening panel. The Print Curve and Plate Curve list controls display the most recent versions of calibration curves in the ColorFlow database.
ColorFlow curve selection and saving in the process template file works differently from Harmony curves. When you select a print curve and plate curve from ColorFlow, the process template editor saves a hidden curve identifier in the process template file. If you edit the curve name in ColorFlow, output using the process template will continue to work without editing, and Prinergy will report the new curve name in Job History. If you open the process template, the new name also appears in the Print Curve or Plate Curve selection list.
