Template jobs are automatically assigned to jobs in Prinergy based on the following precedence rules.
- Prinergy's first choice is the JDF-specified template job:
A template job that is specified in a JDF new-job request is the primary template job and supersedes any template job that is specified in the Administration Client. - Second choice is the customer template job:
If no template job is specified in a JDF new-job request, then Prinergy uses the template job that is associated with the customer on the Customer Mapping tab. - Third choice is the Business Link default template job:
If no template job is assigned in either the JDF new-job request or on the Customer Mapping tab, then Prinergy uses the default template job that is specified on the Configuration tab. - Last choice is no template job at all:
If a specified template job does not exist or if no template job is specified in the JDF new-job request or on the Administration Client tabs, then the job is created, but no template job is applied.
