A layout for Certified Process for Color Confirmation must identify the spectrophotometer and color bar that will be used.

  1. In Proofer Viewer, select Configure > Layouts.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select the Certified Process for Color Confirmation check box.
  4. In the Measuring spectrophotometer list, select the spectrophotometer and filter or measurement condition that will be used to measure the color bar.
  5. Select the desired Print label with option.
For Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 printers with an inline spectrophotometer, you can select Proofer to let the proofer automatically print the label directly on the proof. Otherwise, select Dymo LabelWriter to use the label printer.
  6. In the Color Bar list, select a color bar.
Only color bars created for the selected spectrophotometer appear in the list.
  7. Click Positions, and specify where to place the color bar and label.
  8. Set the other options as desired.
  9. Click Save.
    Do not use the + - \ / | < > [ ] { } ? . , ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) = : ; ' " characters in file names.
