Choosing the Plate Control Strip you need

You can obtain all the available Kodak Plate Control Strip files and documentation from the Customer Engagement Center or from your service and support portal. 

This table shows the preconfigured Plate Control Strip files that are available. When choosing a particular KPCS file, consider the following:

• Resolution must match your device resolution.
• Choose the line screen you want to see in the reference screening elements (the lower half of the Tone Scale section) that is similar in appearance to the actual screening to be used on the plate (which will also appear in the upper half of the Tone Scale section).
• The files are available in EPS and PDF versions. To use the Plate Control Strip with Kodak Pandora imposition software, you will need the PDF version.

For additional configurations, you can use the file KPCS_EDIT_FOR_CUSTOM_STRIP.eps to create your own customized Plate Control Strip. Configured options can include automatic selection of resolution and vertical orientation.
