PDF Trap Editor is a vector-based trapper, and does not trap along color intersections within raster data (that is, within images, and copydot, CT/LW, and CEPS data). Those images, if they require trapping internally, should be trapped with tools like Adobe Photoshop. Copydot and CEPS data are usually already trapped.
PDF Trap Editor can trap vector and text objects to raster data, and can trap the outline of raster objects to vector objects and other raster objects.
