The Pandora software lets you resize the trim box of artwork, and then offset or center the artwork within the new trim box.
In integrated mode, when you reuse an existing layout and replace artwork with a different sized artwork, you can swap the artwork and use Pandora to shift the new artwork to fit.
- Select an artwork in the layout view.
- Click the Ruler tool and measure the area on the artwork to which you want to set the trim.
The values appear in the bar at the bottom of the layout view.)
Tip: When measuring in the layout view, select High Res Preview to provide an accurate image. - In the Attributes pane, click the Size and offset arrow.
- In the New size boxes, type the horizontal and vertical values for the trim box.
- Click center.
- Measure from the new trim box edge (indicated by a black dot) to the edge of the artwork. The values appear in the bar at the bottom of the layout view.
- In the Offset boxes, type a new horizontal and vertical size for the offset.
- Click Apply.
When you resize the trim box, the software maintains any existing bleed paths, because you modified the path to resolve bleed overlaps.
