Supported Kodak workflow software
InSite Creative Workflow 11.0 supports the following versions of Kodak software:
- InSite Prepress Portal 11.0
Prinergy Workflow system 10.0 or later
Matchprint Virtual 11.0
InSite Creative Workflow servers and workstations must meet specific hardware and software requirements.
Supported servers
InSite Creative Workflow and Distribution can run on the following platforms:
Windows 2019:
Dell PowerEdge T340, T350 Performance Plus server
Dell PowerEdge T550, R550, T640, R740 High Performance Premium server or Premium server
- Kodak Virtual Operating Environment (KVOE)†, running on the following hosts:
- VMWare ESXi 6.5 or higher
- Microsoft Hyper-V 2019 or 2022
Windows 2022:
Dell PowerEdge T340, T350, T360 Performance Plus server
Dell PowerEdge T550, R550, T640, R740 High Performance Premium server or Premium server
- Kodak Virtual Operating Environment (KVOE)†, running on the following hosts:
- VMWare ESXi 6.5 or higher
- Microsoft Hyper-V 2019 or 2022
Note: A minimum of 16 GB of RAM and 146/160 GB (platform dependent) system disk are highly recommended for Windows 2019. A minimum of 32 GB of RAM and 250 GB system disk are highly recommended for Windows 2022. You may check the total current usage of all the running processes of your system and then add 4 GB on top of it. This total may be the amount of RAM to have to sufficiently run the system. Your configuration and other factors may still affect the overall performance, and the system may require more disk space or RAM.
Note: Intel and AMD CPUs are supported in Kodak Virtual Operating Environment installations (VMWare and Hyper-V).
Important: For VOE (Virtual Operating Environment), Kodak does not provide the license for Microsoft operating system. The licenses can be purchased through a Microsoft reseller of your choice.
† The KVOE is the VM Host that holds your Kodak Virtual Machines. The individual VMs on that host must comply with the OS requirements of the software.
Rendering Engine Sizing
Platform | Max Number of Rendering Engines | Comments |
---|---|---|
T330 Performance Plus | 2 | |
T340 Performance Plus | 2 | |
T350 Performance Plus | 2 | |
T550/R550 Premium Server | 14 | |
T630/R730 Premium Server | 14 | |
T640/R740 Premium Server | 14 | |
T630/R730 High Performance Premium Server | 18 | |
T640/R740 High Performance Premium Server | 18 | |
T550/R550 High Performance Premium Server | 22 | |
KVOE virtual appliances (VMware and Hyper-V) | n - 2 | Number of vCPUs assigned to the VM minus 2 = total number of rendering engines that can be used on the appliance. |
Note: Maximum number of rendering engines is defined by the hardware platform and workflow licensing, not by the version of the workflow software.
Important: These are guidelines only. While they are accurate for most installations, individual workflow and file type variations and/or bandwidth limitations may limit the maximum number of renderers to fewer than the listed maximums.
Supported DMZ configurations
If a DMZ configuration is required, it must be purchased from Kodak. Other DMZ configurations are not supported.
Supported client computers
