On Epson SureColor P7570/9570 printers that use an inline spectrophotometer

Always perform this procedure after loading a roll of media or changing the paper, before running a Certified Process for Color Confirmation job, and after replacing or upgrading the spectrophotometer.

  1. On the front panel of the printer, press the Menu
  2. Select Maintenance > SpectroProofer Setting> Start.
  3. Restart the printer. (Turn it off and then on again.)


On Epson SureColor P6000, P7000, P8000, and P9000 printers that use an inline spectrophotometer

Always perform this procedure after loading a roll of media or changing the paper, before running a Certified Process for Color Confirmation job, and after replacing or upgrading the spectrophotometer.

  1. On the front panel of the printer, press the Menu button.
  2. Select Options Setup > Spectro Proofer > Sproofer Setting > OK to start calibration.
  3. Restart the printer. (Turn it off and then on again.)


On Epson SureColor P5000 printer that use an inline spectrophotometer 

Always perform this procedure after loading a roll of media or changing the paper, before running a Certified Process for Color Confirmation job, and after replacing or upgrading the spectrophotometer.

  1. On the front panel of the printer, press the Menu
  2. Select Initialize Setting > Execute.
  3. Press OK to save the setting.
  4. Restart the printer. (Turn it off and then on again.)


On Epson Stylus Pro x900/x890 printers that use an inline spectrophotometer

Always perform this procedure after loading a roll of media or changing the paper, before running a Certified Process for Color Confirmation job, and after replacing or upgrading the spectrophotometer.

  1. On the front panel of the printer, press the Menu button.
  2. Select Options Setup > Spectro Proofer > Device Alignment > Execute.
  3. Press OK to save the setting.
  4. Restart the printer. (Turn it off and then on again.)
