- If the Geometry palette is not currently shown, select Window > Show Geometry Palette.
- Click the object to select it.
- On the Geometry palette diagram, click the reference point to which you want to anchor the scaled version of the object.
- In the % boxes on the Geometry palette, type the horizontal and vertical percentage to which you want to scale the object. For example, to reduce the scale to 90%, type 90; to increase the scale to 110%, type 110. You can also leave the default number (100) and type a calculation after it (for example, for 90, type 100-10).
- Press Enter.
Notice that the scaling you apply is also reflected in horizontal and vertical size figures on the Geometry palette.
