RGB reference device conditions are used exclusively for color inputs to define the color space of RGB input files. An RGB reference cannot be used as a PCO.
You can select from one of the following built-in RGB reference device conditions:
- Adobe RGB (1998)
- eciRGB v2
- ProPhoto RGB
- sRGB IEC61966-2.1
These built-in RGB reference device conditions are based on published RGB profiles. You cannot adjust or replace these profiles. If you need a specific device condition to represent the color response of an RGB scanner or camera, you can create a custom RGB reference device condition based on an RGB ICC device profile. The reference condition you created is saved in the system and appears in the device condition list.
- In the Device box, drag RGB Reference into the Device Conditions viewer or Color Setups viewer.
In the device condition , click the Properties icon .
- In the Name list box, type a name that you would like to use for your custom reference device condition.
- Click OK.
- Click the Device Condition Profile icon .
- Click Import, and select an RGB ICC device profile to import.
- Click OK.
