  1. From the Window menu, open the Marks palette and select the SmartMarks folder.
  2. Select the CB_6-Color_2-tier.pdf.
  3. On the Marks palette, click the Edit Mark Attributes (pencil) icon to open the Mark Settings dialog box.
  4. Modify the placements settings as follows:
    Anchored To - Die
    Mark > Rotation - choose 90° 
    Mark > Anchor Point - bottom left corner
    Vertical Position - Bottom with 1" offset; and .25" trim increment (Type - Stepped and 0 Margin).
    Horizontal Position - Left with -.875" offset (Type - Simple).
  5. Click Save As, and name the new mark as My First SmartMark and save it to the Vitamin Carton folder. (Packaging Activity Source Files/Vitamin Carton)
  6. On the Marks palette, click the Import mark icon (roll-over the icons to read the text) and from the Vitamin Carton folder, select the newly modified SmartMark PDF file. Click Open. The file is saved directly to the User folder on the palette. .
    Note: If you want to remove the old color bar. From the Content tab, select the mark, right-click and select Delete. At the warning message, when asked if you are sure that you want to remove it, click Delete.
  7. On the Marks palette, select My First SmartMark and drag it to the layout.
  8. From the File menu, select Save. The Job Ticket will be imported to your Prinergy Workflow Packaging Automation Expansion Pack job.
  9. Repeat the above steps to modify the XX_PlateID.pdf SmartMark:
    File location: User > XX_MarkSet > XX_PlateID.pdf
    • Anchored To - Plate
    • Mark > Rotation - choose 90°
    • Mark > Anchor Point - bottom right corner
    • Vertical Position - Bottom with 1.25" offset (Type - Simple)
    • Horizontal Position - Right with -1.0" offset (Type - Simple)
    • Save as new PDF - My PlateID SmartMark
  10. Close the file and quit Pandora.
