- Double-click the AdobePS installation software file that you downloaded from the Downloads page at http://www.adobe.com.You need to run the AdobePS installer each time you want to create an AdobePS printer.
- Complete the AdobePS installation wizard, using the following steps:
- In the Printer Connection Type dialog box select It is connected to your network (Network Printer) option. Click Next.
- In the Network Path dialog box click Browse.
- In the Browse for Network Printer dialog box browse and select the printer you shared on the server. The default is <
your Evo server>\<Shared Printer name>. Click OK. - Click Next.
- Complete the remaining wizard dialog boxes as required.
- Click Finish.
- For other Windows-based workstations, repeat all the steps in the procedure for Step 4.
- From your desktop software, print using the AdobePS virtual printer you have created. Do not print to file.
The LPD IP virtual printer sends the input file to Prinergy Evo software where it is processed according to the instructions in the attached process template.
