With profile-making software and a spectrophotometer, measure the chart printed with white flood and create a proofer profile.
Requirements:
- Profile chart that was printed with white flood
- Spectrophotometer that the profile-making software supports
The proofer profile that you create reflects the white level specified in the hot folder or virtual printer that was used to print white flood for the profile chart. For example, if the hot folder had a white level setting of 80% when you printed the profiling chart, the proofer profile created from the chart is optimized for a white level of 80%.
You will use the ICC profile as a proofer profile in Kodak Proofing Software for the media configuration.
