Dot enlargement identifies dots that are smaller than the user-specified threshold and, where possible, enlarges the dots to the minimum size threshold. If the software determines that enlarging dots to the specified threshold will cause an image or tonal artifact, it enlarges the dots only partially or not at all.
This feature is applied on output only when you use the Windows version of TIFF Assembler Plus. The Mac OS version can be used to enable the feature for individual files, but the final output must be made from a Windows version.
- Select File > Layout Setup.
- In the Presets list, select the layout preset that you want to use. If necessary, create a new preset.
- Select the Dot Enlargement check box.
- In the list, select a threshold size setting. The available sizes depend on the resolution selected for the layout.
For 2400 dpi:

- Click Save.
