Test the configuration by submitting a digital print job using Prinergy Workshop.

  1. Add a PDF file in Prinergy.
  2. In Job Manager, right-click the file and select Send to Digital.

  3. In the list of devices below the line separator, select the required digital device.
    The Submit to Digital Print dialog box prompts you for any content preparation, JDF job ticketing, or print setting information that is required for the PDF file that you are submitting for printing.

  4. On the Press Settings tab, you can select the digital press and JDF template. 
    To enter a predefined HP workflow, click Edit. In the JDF Override dialog box, in the HP Job Spec box, type the name of the predefined workflow.
    The HP JobSpec is the name of the workflow that the HP front end uses when processing a job. For information about how to set up workflows in the HP front end, see the HP documentation or contact HP technical support.
    Note: The Device-Specific options box is not available in Prinergy 5.1.1.
  5. Check your output.
