Use the menu items in the Edit menu to add, insert, edit, and delete rules.
Undo
Reverses the last action that you performed in the Rule Builder workspace
Redo
Reapplies the last action that you did in the Rule Builder workspace
Cut
Removes the selected rules from its current location if you select Paste in another location
Copy
Duplicates the selected rules if you select Paste in another location
Paste
Adds one or more rule sets that were previously cut or copied. You can paste into several locations:
- The same Rule Builder window
- Another rule set in another Rule Builder window
- Other software that accepts images, such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Word
Tip: To change the size of the image that is pasted into other software, change the scale of Rule Builder before you cut or copy.

Selects all rules
Add Rule
Adds a placeholder event and action
Insert Rule
Inserts a placeholder for an action before the selected action in the Rule Builder workspace
Delete
Removes the selected rules
Edit Rule
Opens the Rule Parameters Editor tool, so that you can modify the action's parameters for a rule
