PDF Trap Editor assesses values and aspects of the PDF file before applying traps. Some of these are trap-decision parameters that are automatically set according to PDF Trap Editor defaults.
You can choose to reset some of the trap decision parameters using the trapping dialog boxes. Trap-decision parameters include:
- Common density limit
- Relative step limit
- Minimum absolute step limit
Also included as an important element of trap decisions but not under direct user control when generating traps is:
- Trap direction
Note: You can still edit trap direction in the Properties Editor and override trap direction for images.
