Navigate to this dashboard by clicking on the “Job Activity” gauge in the common overview dashboard.
How To Use
Using the Filter options pane to the right to adjust the date range and press(es) which you want, as with the Press Availability dashboard.
- “Total of Job Count” number indicates how many jobs have been processed by the selected group of presses during the selected date range.
- “Job Types” pie chart provides a quick way to see what fraction of jobs over this time period are black-and-white vs. full-color. Hovering the mouse over the pie chart pops up a tool tip which provides a more exact set of numbers for this breakdown.
- “Top 5 Substrate Weights by Job Count” tree map provides a graphic visualization for the relative number of jobs which use different substrate weights.
- Similarly, the “Top 5 Substrates by Job Count” tree map provides the same type of information by substrate name. This information provides a plant operations manager with some insight into how much usage different substrate types get for printing.
- “Job Count by Month” time series graph shows the number of jobs printed each month for the press or presses selected by the filter. Hovering the mouse provides the numeric value for that month. The entire series of numbers can also be exported in CSV text format for import into a spreadsheet or MIS program for further analysis.
- “Job Counts by Week Day & 24 Hour” heat map indicates, for the selected press or presses, the rate at which jobs are submitted for printing. This heat map presentation can provide insight as to when the different presses are busy or less so, which is useful information for optimizing job flow throughout the printing plant.
