You can add a logo to the PDF file of the artwork for the color bar.
Requirement: The color bar must not yet be color managed for the Certified Process for Color Confirmation. You must add the logo to the artwork before you submit the PDF file of the artwork to the workflow software for the color management step of the Certified Process for Color Confirmation setup.
- In Proofer Administrator, create a color bar, and set the following options on the Patches tab:
- In the Image Size area, specify the size of the image, including the logo.
- In the First Patch Location area, specify the location of the first color patch in the artwork.
- Save the color bar.
- Perform one of the following actions:
- For user-defined color bars: Locate a PDF file of the artwork.
- For all other types of artwork available with Kodak Proofing Software: On the Color Bars tab, select the color bar that you just created, and click Export PDF to produce a PDF of the artwork.
- In Adobe Illustrator or other software, open the PDF file of the artwork, add the logo to the margin that you created, and save the PDF file.
- Submit the PDF file of the color bar artwork to the workflow software to color manage the color bar and ensure that the crosshairs for the color bar are correct.
