The installation history file is updated every time you install proofing software and lists relevant information about each installation. The file resides in the Proofer Controller and is a common file for all proofers attached to that Controller.

Reading the installation history file
The file is organized chronologically with the latest installation at the top of the page. The following information is displayed:The following information is displayed for both software and configuration files:
- Installer title and installation time/date
- Installer version
- Type of install
- Installer description
Configuration files also include the status of each file that the installer attempted to install. If the attempt to install failed, the history also shows the reason.
