Note: AppleTalk is not supported by Microsoft Windows Server 2008. It may still be installed using a third-party AppleTalk protocol software, and used for font downloading, AFP sharing, and setting up virtual printers.

  1. From the Mac OS X desktop, open the Print Setup Utility.
  2. In the Print Center dialog box, click Add.
  3. In the Printer List dialog list, select AppleTalk.
  4. In the second box, select your AppleTalk zone (if any).
  5. In the Name column, select the Prinergy Evo AppleTalk virtual printer.
  6. In the Printer Model box, browse for and select the Prinergy Refiner PPD you installed with the Prinergy Evo Client software. Default location: <volume>\Library\Printers\PPDs\Contents\Resources\ <language>.lproj.
  7. Click Add.
  8. From your desktop publishing software (for example, QuarkXPress), print to the Prinergy Evo AppleTalk virtual printer.
