Note: AppleTalk is not supported by Microsoft Windows Server 2008. It may still be installed using a third-party AppleTalk protocol software, and used for font downloading, AFP sharing, and setting up virtual printers.
- From the Mac OS X desktop, open the Print Setup Utility.
- In the Print Center dialog box, click Add.
- In the Printer List dialog list, select AppleTalk.
- In the second box, select your AppleTalk zone (if any).
- In the Name column, select the Prinergy Evo AppleTalk virtual printer.
- In the Printer Model box, browse for and select the Prinergy Refiner PPD you installed with the Prinergy Evo Client software. Default location: <volume>\Library\Printers\PPDs\Contents\Resources\ <language>.lproj.
- Click Add.
- From your desktop publishing software (for example, QuarkXPress), print to the Prinergy Evo AppleTalk virtual printer.
