New features and enhancements
This section lists features and enhancements that were added in this release.
Support for integration with InSite Creative Workflow 10.0, Enterprise, PressProof, and MatchPrint Virtual 10.0
Integration with InSite Creative Workflow 10.0; Enterprise; PressProof; and MatchPrint Virtual 10.0 is supported.
Two-factor authentication for login
Two-factor authentication by email is available for user login. This protects against user information being inappropriately accessed by a malicious actor that has obtained an account name and password. The InSite Prepress Portal server sends a verification code to the account holder's email address; this code must be entered to gain entry to InSite Prepress Portal. The code expiry period (minutes) and the retention period (days) are configurable.
Microsoft mail server support for email relay
InSite Prepress Portal can now access Microsoft mail servers, like smtp.office365.com or similar, using the OAuth protocol for email relay. Microsoft moved from using SMTP protocol for mail relay to OAuth in 2022. InSite Prepress Portal now accepts the OAuth security token for access to Microsoft servers, and so Microsoft mail relay is now supported in InSite Prepress Portal.
PressProof Client: M1/M2 chipset supported
PressProof supports Mac computers with the M1 and M2 chipset.
Job groups are displayed in expandable/collapsible tree
Job Groups dropdown menu in Create/Edit Customer dialog shows groups in expandable/collapsible tree to display multiple levels of groups.
