Press Mottle
Press mottle is the spotty or uneven appearance of press ink on paper. Typically, it is most visible in solid areas.
Mottle
Specifies the degree of press mottle to emulate on a proof. Choose one of the following options:
- None: turns off the emulation of press mottle
- Fine: emulates fine mottle texture
- Medium: emulates medium mottle texture
- Coarse: emulates coarse mottle texture
Intensity (0 - 100 %)
Specifies how much mottle texture to emulate. An intensity of 1% appears lighter than an intensity of 100%. Decimals are not allowed.
Paper Grain
Specifies whether to emulate the grain seen on press sheets for the selected paper type. Choose one of the following options:
None: turns off the emulation of paper grain
Paper Grain: emulates the grain seen on press
Intensity (0 - 100%)
Specifies how much paper fiber to emulate. An intensity of 1% appears lighter than an intensity of 100%. Decimals are not allowed.
