As of ColorFlow 11.0, ColorFlow has complete feature parity with Harmony, including the ability to do solid cutback curves for flexo and gravure.
Kodak encourages all existing Harmony users to switch to ColorFlow for creating and managing calibration curves. There are many advantages to switching to ColorFlow, including a simpler curve-creation UI, the ability to create gray-balanced curves and the ability to make on-the-fly tonal adjustments at the time of output from Prinergy.
While Harmony has continued to operate with current releases, Windows operating system or security updates could make it stop working. As Harmony End of Service Life has been announced and development has been discontinued, such a failure in future will be permanent.
Prinergy 10 and above have an automatic Process Template migration tool in Prinergy Administrator. Once you've imported an existing Harmony curve database into ColorFlow, you can run the Harmony Process Template update tool on the Prinergy Server to automatically switch all Harmony curves to the equivalent ColorFlow curves in all Process Templates.
Below are some tools and tips for helping you migrate calibration curve creation and management to ColorFlow:
