The system supports Asian fonts, also known as CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) fonts. The system only supports Character Identifier (CID) fonts; it does not support Original Composite Format ( OCF) fonts. The following features are available for these fonts:
- Downloading of aftermarket fonts from Apple Macintosh
- Embedding of fonts during normalizing
- Trapping of fonts
- Outputting of fonts to proofing and final output devices
