The recipe used for the white flood that is printed under colors in input files must be the same recipe that was used to color manage the white flood in the color bar the first time for the Certified Process for Color Confirmation. 

Requirements:

• The hot folder or virtual printer setup that was used to color manage the color bar for the first time 
• The recipe values used to color manage white flood for the color bar

You can edit the settings for the hot folder and virtual printer to ensure that the recipes for white content are correct.

1. Identify the recipe that was used for white flood when the color bar was color managed for the first time.
   • For artwork to which you added proofer white flood:
     1. Open the hot folder or virtual printer for editing.
     2. On the White Settings tab, note the White Level (%) value.
   • For artwork to which you added press white flood:
     1. Open the hot folder or virtual printer for editing.
     2. On the White Settings tab, note the Recipe values.
   • For artwork that included an object for white flood and used a recipe from a color library to define white flood:
     1. In Proofer Administrator, click the Color Bars tab.
     2. Select the color bar, and click Edit.
     3. On the Settings tab, note the Recipe values.
2. Ensure that the hot folder or virtual printer is set up to print the correct recipe for the white flood needed by the input files.
   • For input files that lack content for white flood:
     1. Open the hot folder or virtual printer for editing.
     2. On the White Settings tab, add white flood.
        The white level or recipe that you use for white flood must be the same white level or recipe that was used to color manage the color bar.
   • Input files that include content for white flood
     
     1. Open the hot folder or virtual printer for editing.
     2. On the White Settings tab, select do not use white flood.
     3. On the Spot Colors tab, select a color library that includes the same recipe for white flood that was used to color manage the color bar for the first time.

You are ready to submit input files for proofing.
