A user-defined attribute provides information about a specific project, library, element, folder, task, and task element. The attribute includes details such as the element's file size, type, who created the file, and when it was last modified.

User Defined attributes are defined using the Manage Attributes option for a customer. After you define the attributes, users can modify the values of the attributes for projects, libraries, folders, elements, and tasks. For example, if you define the attribute Photographer, a user could assign the value John Smith to the attribute for a particular element.
