Kodak Veris has five built-in media layouts with proof control strips.

BestGrid-ProofCS layout
This layout places proofs according to size. It automatically selects the layout (1up-ProofCS, 2upGrid-ProofCS, or 4upGrid-ProofCS) that allows for the most proofs per sheet. The control strip and caption (if printed) are placed below proof or to the right of the proof and rotated 90°, depending on what results in the best fit.
Scatter-ProofCS layout
This layout positions proofs in rows, as close to each other as possible. Each row is placed as close as possible to the one above it. The proofs are arranged so that they can be separated using straight cuts across the sheet. As many proofs as possible are placed on the sheet.
The image area is 21 x 28.5 inches (54.34 x 72.39 cm). Control strips and captions (if printed) are placed below each proof or to the right of each proof and rotated 90°, depending on what results in the best fit and allows for straight cuts.
