- Right-click the
HickoryLogo.pdf
file in the Input Files pane. Refine the file with the 1stRef-Normz process template. - Open the refined PDF with Acrobat.
- Open the Advanced Kodak PDF Trap Editor and click the Trap Page button.
- In the Trap Page dialog box, click Show Details. Select the General view and change the Trap Size width and height from 0.25 pt. to 3.0 pt.
Note: The setting of 3.0 is used only to illustrate the trap trimming feature. It is not a recommended trap width to use. - Select the Geometry view and select Automatic in the Trap Trimming box.
- Click Trap Page.
- Zoom-in onto the Hickory and naturally text. Note the trap line is "held away" from the text to prevent the trap line from choking (or thinning) the look of the text.
- From the File menu, select Save. Close the Acrobat window.
- Return to Job Manager and select the
HickoryLogo.p1.pdf
file. - Refine the file again with the 2ndRef-MapColors process template to incorporate the newly assigned trap selections.
