1. From the Object menu, select Step and Repeat. In the Layout section, select the Wrap Top to Bottom option.
2. In the Steps section, enter:
   • Repeat Horiz = 6
   • Repeat Vert = 4
3. Select Distance = 9.7612 in or 247.94 mm
4. In the Stagger section, select Staircase Up; Amount: 1/4.
   Note: The default stagger amount equals the height of the artwork divided by the number of steps across the layout. To specify a custom amount, you select Custom and type the desired value.
5. Click OK.
   Note: If you select Save as Default, the number of repeats, the position settings, and the distance or gap measurement are saved and used as the default settings for the next step-and-repeat layout.
