Multiple monitors

Only PressProof supports multiple monitors. If you use two or more color monitors connected to one computer, all the monitors must be the same model from the same manufacturer (for example, Eizo CG247W) and from a single production run.

To support any mulitple monitor setups, the appropriate number of DisplayPorts, Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports or HDMI ports must be available. You cannot combine ports (i.e. 1 HDMI port and 1 Thunderbolt 3/4 port). All connections must be of the same type.

To use multiple monitors, you may need to install additional video cards. You must use the correct video card to drive your monitors. Otherwise, your display may be incorrect and performance may be slow when panning. Note that Apple Silicon Macs have integrated video cards, and additional external video cards are not qualified for use with this hardware. Intel Macs may have the ability to add video cards, but the Intel chipset is no longer supported by Apple as of macOS 26 (Tahoe).

For information about the correct video cards to use with your color monitors, see the Apple Web site at http://www.apple.com or contact your Apple dealer.
