When an object, a trap, or a border is selected, its icon appears in the Properties Editor/Viewer.

Object types and icons

The following object types are recognized by PDF Trap Editor/Viewer:

• Filled object 
• Stroked object
• Text object
• Image
• Masked image
• Complex bitmap
• Gradient (and axial and radial blends)

Transparent objects and copydot images are recognized, but they cannot be selected or trapped.

The following object types can be selected, but not trapped:

• Technical object (object colored with a transparent ink)
• Copydot object
• Soft mask (gray-scale mask)
• CEPS object
• Bypass object
