To transfer data from your MIS system to the PLA software, you must first ensure that your MIS can output to an XML format that the PLA software supports. 

1. Use the information in Appendix A to confirm that the PLA schema supports your MIS files. If it doesn't, use the procedures in Appendix A to make them conform. 
2. Use the instructions in Appendix A to perform the following actions:
   • Configure your Prinergy Workflow system to accept data from the MIS system.
   • Test an MIS XML file against the PLA schema to confirm that RBA can read the XML file.
3. You can then configure your system to automatically create layouts from MIS XML data.
