After creating a hot folder on the proofer controller, you can submit files directly in Controller Viewer on the same workstation or on a remote proofing client workstation.

Files can also be submitted to proofing hot folders from any workstation in the network. Proofer Client software does not need to be installed.

• You can expose each hot folder on a maximum of 10 remote workstations. For example, when you create a hot folder named Customer_A, up to 10 remote workstations can submit jobs to the exposed Customer_A hot folder.
• Any number of proofer client workstation users can use Controller Viewer to select and submit files to the Customer_A hot folder.

Note: Older systems may continue to use existing virtual printers with the Open Connectivity Kit license. However, Windows 64-bit systems do not support virtual printers.
