Export and Export PDF

The Export button creates a compressed (.zip) file for the selected color bar, and you can place the compressed file in any of the available local or network locations. You can then import the compressed file into another instance of Kodak Proofing Software. Depending on the proofer, the compressed file contains different files:

The Export button is available when you select a color bar.

The Export PDF button exports only the PDF file of a color bar. For Matchprint Inkjet proofers, a PDF file of the color bar is temporarily available for color bars created in Kodak Proofing Software. You create the color bar, export a PDF file of the color bar, and submit the PDF file of the color bar to the workflow software to be color managed, which completes the setup. After the color bar is color managed, the Export PDF button is no longer available.

Import

Opens the Select Color Bars to Import dialog box, which lets you browse through the available local or network locations and import a compressed file of an exported color bar.

Delete

Deletes the selected color bar. The color bar must be disabled before you can delete it.

Note: You cannot delete a color bar referenced by a layout. It doesn't matter whether the layout is enabled or disabled.
