Printers with the inline spectrophotometer will use the inline spectrophotometer to measure color bars, and the printers measure them after printing the proof. When you place the color bar at the top of a proof or sheet, the device must rewind the media before it can measure the color bar. To avoid rewinding the media before measuring, it is recommended that you place color bars at the bottom of the sheet.
