Enter the layout settings that are required for double-sided printing.

  1. In Proofer Viewer, select Configure > Layouts.
  2. Select a layout with a Type of Double-Sided, and click Edit.
  3. Measure precisely the media that you are using, and then type the measurements in the Sheet Size boxes.

  4. Perform one of the following actions:

    For this software

    Do this

    Open Connectivity Kit (hot folders and virtual printers)

    Select Replace DFE Settings with those below.

    Prinergy or Kodak Prinergy Evo

    Select Fail if DFE settings are missing.


    Note: Do not use the X Offset or Y Offset settings in the layout. The offset, if it were necessary, should have been configured in the Device Configuration dialog box when you set up media for double-sided printing.

  5. Select a work style.
  6. Select other options as needed.
  7. Click Save As, and give the layout a unique, recognizable name.
    If you plan to submit jobs with various work styles, consider including the work style in the name.
